Flyers' Primeau expects Thursday return
The Philadelphia Daily News reports that Flyers captain Keith Primeau expects to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens after
missing the last 21 games with concussion symptoms.
Primeau will make a final decision on his status after practice Wednesday
and a discussion with team physician Gary Dorshimer.
"The ship has finally docked," Primeau told the Daily News on Tuesday. "My
intention is to play (tomorrow night). I had a good meeting with Dr. Dorshimer at the last home game. (Friday) I started getting
on the right track and I've been on the right track now since the weekend. I said I intend to be on the plane because I intend
Primeau collided with New York Rangers centre Bobby Holik at center ice in a game at Madison Square Garden Feb. 12, the same game that
saw centre Jeremy Roenick suffer a broken jaw after being hit in the face by a shot.
Primeau has six goals and 21 points in 51 games this season.
